Henry has a wonderful property and was an expert host! Fantastic from start to finish. We would love to return again! R

The coach house is a lovely little apartment with a fantastic location just minutes from the common and the center of town. The apartment was beautifully clean, comfortable and has everything you could need. Henry was the perfect host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Communication was consistently quick and informative and check in a breeze. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this air bnb to anyone! H

My wife and a friend spent a lovely weekend at this property and would recommend it to anyone. D

A fabulous place to stay, within easy walking distance of the town, but a quiet location. The accommodation was beautiful, new and very clean. Lots of lovely little extras to make our stay comfortable. The host was friendly, flexible and communication was great. Highly recommended. R

The Coach House accommodation was great, and the location perfect. Henry was a fantastic host, and I would recommend staying here if you decide to visit Saffron Walden. C

The Nest is lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. It is furnished beautifully, the bed being super comfortable. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided. The kitchen is very well equipped with an excellent size fridge freezer. The hosts left a lovely welcoming pack, and were very welcoming and accommodating. I cannot recommend this place highly enough both for its excellent accommodation as well as as being in a lovely location for shops or for walking in the beautiful local countryside.

This Coach House interior was tasteful and the facilities have clearly been carefully thought through. I found that the organisation and service was first rate, friendly, and professional. The setting is quiet and relaxing, while being within a comfortable walking distance to the town. JB

Fantastic place in an incredible location. The service was flawless and booking an ease too. AK

About Saffron Walden

Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses. Saffron Walden has its own museum, within the grounds of the old castle, beautifully tended gardens in Bridge End Gardens and the The Common, a huge expanse of grass for public enjoyment, just two minutes walk from The Coach House. The impressive Audley End House, run by English Heritage, is within walking distance through the parklands that form the picturesque Audley End Estate.
Saffron Walden is very well connected with Stansted Airport only 12 miles away. The M11 junction to London is 5 miles, and the University City of Cambridge is just 15 miles to the north. The Coach House is perfectly positioned for trips around East Anglia with the added bonus of a local railway station for direct routes into Liverpool Street Station, London.

Historic Saffron Walden offers many places to explore during your stay including the museum, local galleries and public gardens.

A busy market fills the town's Market Square every Tuesday and Saturday and is the perfect place to top-up the larder or take in the atmosphere.

Audley End House was originally built in early 17th century and modernised by Robert Adam in 1760. Open daily during the summer.

The University City of Cambridge is the perfect place to spend a day shopping, exploring the colleges or punting on the River Cam.
